Bayelsa state Governor, Seriake Dickson has sacked all the political appointees that worked with him in the last four years of his administration.
This is as he has re appointed Iworiso-Markson his Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to direct the affairs of the Government House media department.
Dickson, while sacking the appointees thanked them for their commitment to service delivery in the last tenure.
According to a Government House statement, Governor Dickson wished them well in all their future endeavours.
He, however, pointed out that those whose services may be needed will be reappointed to serve the state in the future.
Dickson reappointed Iworiso-Markson Chief Press Secretary barely 24 hours after taking the oath for a second term in office.
The appointment was the first made by the governor after taking his oath of office on Sunday.
Iworiso-Markson also served in the same capacity from 2012 to the end of the Governor’s first term of office.
