Gov. Murphy of New Jersey promises superlative performance in 2nd term as 400 faith leaders endorse his re-election bid 

Governor Phil Murphy of New Jersey, United States of America has assured that he will take the state to levels of superlative achievement never witnessed before if re-elected in the Tuesday, November 2, 2021 election.

Governor Murphy gave the assurance, Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at a program where it was announced that 400 faith leaders from across the state have already endorsed his re-election bid.

Speaking at the “Faith Leaders Endorsement for Governor Phil Murphy and Lieutenant Governor Sheila Y. Oliver” program in Newark, New Jersey, the Governor noted that every election is a referendum on what a candidate has done, on whether such leader has kept his promises and what other choices are available.

He then, confidently, said that so far, he is proud of what he and Lieutenant Governor Oliver have achieved so far in different sectors, stressing that their administration, through its programs and policies, has significantly impacted all in the state, especially the community of color.

He said that they would do much more, especially in such areas as housing, education, jobs, wages, healthcare, environmental laws, opening up of democracy, with special emphasis on redressing inequities in the society.

He urged all to vote them back into office, not only so that they can consolidate on the achievements recorded so far, but so that the good work they have done would not be undone.

He acknowledged the positive impact of the support of the faith leaders and promised to continue to consult with them during and after the election.

Lieutenant Governor Oliver, in her remarks, noted that governance is meant to transform the lives of the governed and assured that their administration would do much more than they have done so far in this regard, assuring that they will continue to run an open government, committed to service to the people of New Jersey.

The faith leaders, who turned up in large numbers for the program gave the Governor and Lieutenant Governor a standing ovation, with those among them who made remarks taking turns to commend the great work they have done so far and firmly endorsing them for a second term in office.

They all agreed that Murphy and Oliver are resourceful, resilient, people of integrity and exemplary leaders who are sure to move New Jersey further forward in the right direction if given the opportunity to serve for a second term.

They all, unanimously, endorsed the re-election bid of Governor Murphy and Lieutenant Governor Oliver and urged them to do much more than they have done so far for the people in their second tenure.
