The family of late Sir and Lady M. A Nnadozie (KSM) of Umuakagu Nsu in Ehime Mbano LGA of Imo State, Nigeria has announced the demise of their illustrious son, High Chief Zeek Martins Nnadozie.
A statement by Mr. Fabian Chukwuma Nnadozie, on behalf of the family, said that the late High Chief Nnadozie, who studied in the United States of America returned to Nigeria, joined partisan politics and served as Senior Special Assistant on Security in HE Achike Udenwa’s Administration in Imo State.
He also served the successor Ikedi Ohakim Administration and from then to the time of his death on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, participated actively in politics and public service in Imo State and beyond.
High Chief Zeek Martins, the statement said further, “was a Community man to the core and highly ingrained in cultural matters. He was President – General of Nsu Development Union for many years and very actively involved in all the development activities of Nsu clan, the entire Ehime, Okigwe and Imo State in General.”
An old boy of the famous Madonna High School, Ihitte Uboma in Imo State, the passage of High Chief Nnadozie, a vocal political commentator, is being mourned by people across the world.
While soliciting prayers for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed and for God’s comfort to the family he left behind at this their most trying time, Mr. Fabian Nnadozie, in the statement, said that funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
He noted that the late High Chief “was a very remarkable personality, a loving husband and father, superlative uncle, a quintessential politician and a brother to cherish for the rest of our lives,” stressing that “the vacuum his untimely death created is needless to say, very much. Zeek was right from his childhood unique in a lot of ways….He will be sorely missed by all of us.”
