

The Alliance of Nigerian Organisations in Georgia (ANOG), United States of America (USA) will on Saturday, September 17, 2022 hold the Nigerian Cultural Day 2022.
The program, which will hold at the Wade Walker Park, Stone Mountain, Georgia, 5585 Rockbridge Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30088; Pavillion #2,3,4, will start at 12:00Noon and end at 6:00PM.
Major attractions of the event include free live entertainment, free health screening exercise for all ages, including Blood Pressure checks, BMI, Glucose screening, COVID-19 vaccines, sickle cell and mental health information; games for the young and old, including a Novelty Soccer Match and assorted foods and drinks.
There will also be voter registration by the Nigeria American Policy Committee (NAPAC), Georgia chapter, opportunity to network with old and new friends and generally have a fun-filled day.
ANOG, according to information on its website, was established by some Nigerians residing in Georgia who came together in 2004 to create a uniform forum of Nigerian Organizations, for the purpose of promoting unity, values and for progress, and for information sharing, advocacy, and cultural understanding between member organizations and the rest of the society.
The organisation has since then been waxing stronger and stronger and better by the day.
