Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Idiat Adebule, has urged Nigerians to spend the Eid-il-Fitr celebration reflecting on the state of the nation.
She appealed to parents and guardians to teach their children and wards to eschew violence and other social vices.
According to a statement, Adebule made the call while felicitating with Muslims on the Islamic celebration, even as she added that the only harmonious coexistence could strengthen unity in the country.
“The festive period calls for sober reflection, appreciation of God’s mercies in the state and thanksgiving for peace and progress.
