Kuku assures of effective management of passenger traffic at MMIA

Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Friday gave assurance of effective management of passenger traffic at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja.
Kuku spoke at the inauguration of the remodelled E-Wing of the airport.
Four Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses were also inaugurated at the airport on Friday.
According to Kuku, FAAN has expanded its facilities to match growth in passenger traffic.
“I do want to say that passenger traffic remains strong while there might be some economic realities that are affecting nations.
“We have expanded our facilities and we are planning for the future; hence, the use of Terminal 2.
“We are using the D-Wing right now, as we are moving passengers in here so that we can potentially decongest, and we are looking at our arrival times and slotting,” she said.
The News Agency of Nigeria NAN) reports that the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo (SAN), inaugurated the remodelled E-Wing and the CNG buses to ease transport at the terminal.
The wing remodelling was a partnership deal between FAAN and the United Bank of Africa (UBA).
