Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, has approved the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.

A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Isiaka Gold, which was made available to journalists in Ilorin, said the dissolution also affected Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Liaison Officers, and Youth Employment Coordinators.

“Similarly, all boards of government-owned companies, commissions, parastatals, and organisations other than those of statutory status, are also dissolved.

The statement also advised all commissioners to handover government properties in their custody to their permanent secretaries, adding that heads of other ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) must handover to the most senior officers in their establishment.
