All is set for the 2022 Biennial Conference of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), United States of America (USA) Chapter, holding tomorrow, Saturday, August 20, 2022.

Organisers of the Conference say that the key guests expected from outside the United States of America (USA) and from outside New Jersey are already in town and ready for the crucial event while other arrangements are in place to ensure a hitch-free and rewarding experience for all participants.

The program, which will feature high profile national and international players in the Banking and Investment sectors, including senior Fellows of the CIBN from Nigeria and from within the USA, is being organized in collaboration with the parent CIBN based in Nigeria.

Venue of the event is the Hilton East Brunswick & Double Tree Somerset Hotel, 200, Atrium Drive, Somerset, New Jersey 08873, USA, and Mr. Folashodun Ade Shonubi, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is the Distinguished Guest of Honour while Mr. Abubakar Suleiman, Group Managing Director/CEO Sterling Bank PLC is Keynote Speaker.

The theme of the Conference is FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT: An Important Catalyst for Economic Development (Encouraging Investment at Home by Nigerians in Diaspora).

Dubbed NEW JERSEY 2022, the Conference will have as Guest Speakers, Dr. Segun Aina, a past President of the CIBN and President of Africa Fintech Network, Dr. Abiodun Adedipe, Chief Consultant, B. Adedipe Associates Limited and US-based Investment specialist and CEO of Nazaru, LLC, USA, Mrs. Toyin Umesiri.
