Mayor Ras Baraka speaks at Black History Month Event Monday
Mayor of Newark City, New Jersey, United States of America (USA), Mayor Ras Baraka, will be the Guest Speaker at a Black History Month Event, Honoring: The Divine 9, on Monday, February 19, 2024.
The program, which will also feature Congresswoman Bonnie Watson-Coleman, the U.S. Representative for New Jersey’s 12th congressional district and member of the Democratic Party as well as the first African-American woman to represent New Jersey in Congress, is scheduled to start at 06:00PM and end at 08:00PM.
The program holds at the Patriots Theater at The War Memorial, 1 Memorial Dr., Trenton, NJ 08608 and additions to the event include special performances by the group FIRE and the Bishop’s Choir from Grace Cathedral Fellowship Ministries.
February is set aside as Black History Month and several events have been going on and will continue till the end of the month in celebration of the struggle of blacks in America and elsewhere in the world and the achievements so far recorded in different spheres of life.
All are invited to be part of the event.
