The one week fasting and prayer programme, declared by the General Overseer (G.O) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, ends today, Friday, December 2, 2022, with a mega praise and prayer session at the Redemption City on the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, Nigeria starting at 7:00PM, West African Time (WAT).

Flowing from this programme of intercession for the self and the nation(s) would be the 2022 Annual Congress of the RCCG with the theme DOUBLE PORTION, which will start on Monday, December 5, and end on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

The prayer and fasting programme started on Friday, November 26, 2022, and has focused majorly on the individual asking God for mercy and thanking Him, with 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 as main Bible text.

It has featured prayer meetings at different Parishes of the Church every evening in the last six days and will be rounded off with the mega session at the Redemption City tonight with Pastor Adeboye and other Anointed Ministers of God ministering.

It is assured that after this spiritual exercise, God will heal the land. He will surely arise on behalf of, not just the individual but of, Nigeria and other nations of the world that are in one form of distress or the other.

Worshippers from all over the world are expected to be part of the grand finale of the prayer and fasting programme today and of the weeklong Congress of the Church starting on Monday, December 5, 2022.

The Services of the Church are broadcast live on YouTube and other social media platforms of the Church as well as on some Radio and Television stations.
