NAF denies report of pending retirement of AVMs, Commodores

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has denied a report that it is about to retire a number of senior officers connected with the ongoing investigation into the arms purchase scandal of the immediate past administration popularly known as Dasukigate.

A statement by Group Captain Ayodele Famuyiwa, Director of Public Relations & Information, NAF, said that the “story is unfounded and did not emanate from the NAF.”

The statement said further that “The Press is therefore please advised to always confirm their story with the NAF before publication” of stories.
