Nigeria’s U-20 female team will on Sunday evening file out against South Korea in their second game of the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

Both teams were winners on matchday one, South Korea 2-0 victors over Canada while Nigeria stunned France 1-0.

Victory for either side will seal progression to the Knockout stage and Falconets Coach Chris Danjuma is confident the Nigerian girls will get the job done again.

In his pre match interview on Saturday August 13, Danjuma said ” When you win your first match it gives you courage and strength to want to approach the second game with a little bit of caution because you know if you win crossing the group is good as done. ”

“We are all geared up to make sure we win against South Korea.

“People underestimate the skills and speed of the Europeans, go and watch France again you will see that they have skills and speed.

“What we are trying to do in this competition is to snuff you out and impose our style of play.

“We want to raise the joy level of everyone again and by the grace of God we will come out victorious. ” Danjuma concluded.

Kickoff for the Nigeria Vs South Korea match is 9pm (Nigerian time) at the Estadio Alajuela Morera Soto.
