In a move that confirms news that the 2022/202 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) will adopt an abridged format, the Interim Management Committee (IMC) has announced December 28, 2022, as date for the seasons draw.
A letter copied to all clubs, and made available to Global Patriot Newspapers, shows that the draws will take place at the Sandrailla Hotel in Abuja on Wednesday December 28.
The IMC also notified clubs of the need to complete all registration and club licencing protocols to earn a spot in the 2022/2023 NPFL draws.
The league will kick-off on January 8, 2023 after series of dissapointing postponements that have taken away the luxury of time for the organization of a full league season.
