Nigerian Army Football Team earns promotion to Division One

The Nigerian Army Football Team (Green Beret Football Club) Saturday at Ibadan won the Nation Wide League Division Two. By this feat, the Green Beret FC has gained promotion to the Nation Wide League Division One.

A statement by Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, Acting Director Army Public Relations said that the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai, has congratulated the team for this unprecedented feat.

To further encourage them, the statement said, arrangements are in top gear to formally receive and honour the team by the Nigerian Army.

Congratulations to the Green Beret FC and all the officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army.
