Zamalek, who currently hold the title, took control early with goals from Seifeddine Jaziri and Omar Faraj, giving them a 2-0 lead in the first half. However, Enyimba, former African champions, didn’t give up. They made a strong comeback in the second half, with Ufere Chukwu and Ifeanyi Ihemekwele scoring to level the match at 2-2.

This hard-fought draw sees Zamalek remain at the top of the group with four points, while Enyimba earned their first point of the group stage, moving up to third place.
