NPFL pre-season: Akwa United FC to face Nordic Academy again

2021 The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Champions, Akwa United Football Club of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, will on Thursday December 15, 2022 face high flying Nordic Football Academy of Uyo in a pre-season friendly.

The second meeting in pre-season, the first a 1-0 win for the Promise Keepers.

The game will take place at the Practice pitch of the Nest of Champions Uyo with kick-off billed for 4pm.

Nordic Football Academy in the first Pre-season gave the NPFL side a good run hence the choice by the Coach Ayodeji Ayeni tutored Akwa United FC to face the young lads again.

If he starts, Nordic Football Academy goalkeeper, Chukwu Josiah, will yet again have a busy day against the Promise Keepers.

Whereas Akwa United FC will use the encounter to fine tune plans for the next NPFL season, Nordic Football Academy will savour the experience and justify its rating as one of the brightest football Academies in Nigeria.
