Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye’s coronation programme begins; Climaxes Tuesday, December 19

Dignitaries from far and near, including acclaimed Clerics, from within and beyond Nigeria, to be led by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, political heavyweights, representing different tiers of government, from the federal to the local levels, leading traditional rulers, business top shots, Diplomats, academics, military and para-military big wigs and others are billed to grace the different aspects of the historic coronation ceremony.

Ogbomoso will, in a brand new way, receive an influx of well-meaning local and foreign dignitaries, the type it has never witnessed in history within the period of the week-long coronation programme and going forward, because of the huge networks already built by Oba Olaoye, who was a leader of the RCCG in the Americas before he received the call to come and lead his people.

Those to benefit from the gesture, which is borne out of the new Monarch’s burning desire to banish poverty from his kingdom, Prof. Adepoju said at a press conference, will be drawn from the five local government areas that make up the Ogbomoso geo-political zone of the state, and items to be distributed would include freezers, power generating sets and refrigerators.

There will be an Oba Olaoye Golf Tournament and a variety of other entertainment on Saturday, December 16, 2023, while on Sunday, December 17, 2023, there will be an Inter-Denominational Coronation Church Service at the Beulah Centre with Pastor Adeboye, and other Ministers of God from different Ministries within and from outside Nigeria, officiating.

Monday, December 18, 2023, a Praise and Worship Concert featuring celebrity gospel artists will hold at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), in readiness for the historic presentation of the staff of office to the gentle giant who is taking up the task of leading his people into a glorious new age.
