Obasanjo, Obi, Anyim, others at final commendation ceremony of late Deaconess Chidoka; Obi visits Charly Boy in Lagos

Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, was one of the dignitaries that included former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim, former Senator Mike Ajegbo and Gov. Chukwuma Soludo, who attended the final commendation ceremony of late Deaconess Victoria Nneka Chidoka, the mother of Hon Osita Chidoka, Hon Obinna Chidoka and their other siblings in Obosi, Anambra State.

The former Anambra State Governor, who is contesting the outcome of the February 25, 2023 presidential election in court also visited popular musician and activist, Mr. Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, at his Lagos residence, following recent news of his ill-health.

Mr. Obi said in a tweet that “I was happy to meet him in his usual high spirit and cheerful mood and was convinced that he is the overcomer that he has always been. We spent quality and fraternal moments discussing the way forward for our dear country.

” I wished him many more years of good health of the body and mind as he continues to contribute to the development of the nation.”
