Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Mr. Peter Obi, has paid courtesy visits to former President and Elder Statesman, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and the new Olubandan of Ibadanland, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja.
Writing about the visits in a post on his X (Twitter) platform, Mr. Obi, a former Governor of Anambra State, said “In both visits, we were fortunate to discuss the state of our nation and how all of us can live in unity, love, fairness and justice progressively together.”
Mr. Obi who was accompanied on the visits by Yunusa Tanko, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, Segun Adebanjo and others, also said that the meetings make him believe “that the coming together of a competent team with capacity, compassion, and commitment to build a new Nigeria is POssible.”
