Ebonyi State Governor, Engineer David Umahi, last weekend was joined by the Who-is-who in Nigeria to bid his mother, Deaconess Margaret Umahi, a befitting farewell. Among those who were part of the elaborate rites of passage for the departed matron were Vice President (Prof) Yemi Osinbajo, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, representative of the Wife of the President, Mrs. M. Dogara, wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Dame Patience Jonathan, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Engineer Babachir Lawal, former SGF, Chief Anyim Pius Anyim, Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Ali Modu Sherrif and Governors from across the country, especially from the South East and South South geo-political zones. It was, indeed, a memorable occasion and some pictures here capture the historic event.
