Pastor Adeboye calls down fire on those threatening the Church as RCCG holds July 2022 Holy Ghost Service

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, G.O, RCCG

The Holy Ghost Service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) for July 2022, which is also the School of Disciples (SOD) Convention 2022 started off yesterday, Thursday, June 30, 2022 with the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye coming down hard on those threatening the Church of God in Nigeria and elsewhere in the world.

The theme of the SOD Convention and the Holy Ghost Service is Complete in Jesus (Colossians 2:9-10) and during the Holy Communion Service on Thursday night, Pastor Adeboye prayed that the fire of Heaven would torment and consume all those plotting against the Church, insisting that those threatening the Church had overstepped their bounds.

He said that he returned from a trip to hear that some people were saying that people should not go to Church for three months. He said such people were enemies of the Church who henceforth will, day and night, be tormented by fire, stressing that they must bow to Jesus who is the head of all principalities and powers.

He urged believers in God not to be afraid as all power in heaven and on earth belong to Jesus, stressing that “we are more than conquerors.”

The SOD Convention started off with a colorful Disciples Parade featuring the different Regions of the Church marching and dancing past, displaying their banners, followed by an address by Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, the wife of the General Overseer and word ministration by Pastor Adeboye, who started the school, which has now become a huge international success, with a hand full of students in 1985.

The Holy Ghost Service of the SOD Convention comes up today, Friday, July 2, 2022, and there would be more fervent prayers, glorious praise and worship sessions, word ministrations, testimonies of the faithfulness of God and prophetic declarations.

The Service holds at the Redemption Camp of the RCCG on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and those too far away to be able to attend on site in person can also be part of the sessions via the Church’s social media platforms.
