Pastor (Dr) Toyin Laoye of RCCG Dominion Cathedral, New Jersey, celebrates 60th Birthday in grand style

Pastor Toyin Laoye

It was a glorious day of great joy for all who were part of the Diamond jubilee celebration of the birth of Pastor (Dr.) Toyin Laoye, the Senior Pastor in charge of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Dominion Cathedral, Orange, New Jersey, USA.

It was more so for the much loved Pastor, who testified to the faithfulness of God in the last 60 years of her life.

For the first female Parish Pastor in RCCG North America (RCCGNA), who has, by the special grace of God risen to become Pastor-in-charge of Province 2 and Assistant Pastor –in-charge of Region 6 of RCCGNA, Sunday September 2, 2018 was a day of singing and dancing and a day when she was showered with prayers, accolades, testimonies, gifts of love and encouragement for her to continue with the excellent work that she has been doing.

A special message and prayers from the General Overseer, GO, of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, expectedly excited all present and was followed by thunderous ‘Allelluyah’ when the G.O, at the end of the televised message, which was aired at both the Church Service and at the Reception,  said ‘let someone shout allelluya!!’

Special Assistant to the General Overseer, SATGO and Chairman, RCCGNA, Pastor James Fadel, also had a message, which spoke glowingly of Pastor Dr. Laoye and her invaluable contributions to the growth of the Church in North America and the advancement of the community.

Pastor Fadel, who came with his wife, at the Birthday Reception, led prayers for the celebrant, who was radiant with joy.

At the Thanksgiving Service of hymns, songs and dancing, at the Church’s Auditorium, 180 Main Street, Orange, New Jersey, Pastor Femi Emmanuel, the Presiding Pastor, Living Spring Chapel International, Ibadan, Nigeria, who ministered the Word of God prophesied all round rest, an era of sweatless victory and a season of bountiful harvest upon Pastor Laoye and exhorted the congregation to discover and fulfill purpose.

Michael Fashina (a.k.a ERUJEJE), the international entertainer, further spiced up the glorious service that had in attendance Senior Pastors from different parts of the United States, Europe and beyond as well as friends, relatives and associates of the celebrant.

There were also government functionaries who came, both to the Service and the Reception, to attest to the positive impact of Pastor Dr. Toyin Laoye on the community and to celebrate her 60th birthday with her.

The Birthday Reception at the The Hanover Manor was equally glorious, indeed, superlative. The beautiful hall was filled to capacity with people who had, in one way or the other, been touched by Pastor Laoye, who the G.O, Pastor Adeboye, acknowledged as a great woman of God.

Expectedly, the atmosphere was convivial. There was good music, plenty to eat and drink and very many leaders of the Church of God and top government functionaries in attendance. In all, it was, for all who were part of the celebrations, a day to remember for good and it must have been more so for Pastor Dr. Laoye.

The celebrations will continue on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 with Pastor Femi Emmanuel ministering at a Special Digging Deep (Bible Study) Service from 7 pm. The theme of the Service is “A Night of Power & Advancement.”

On Friday, September 7, 2018, there would be a Special Holy Ghost Vigil with Pastor Emmanuel ministering on the theme: “Breakthrough to Wonders” and to round off the celebration, on Sunday, September 9, 2018, Pastor David K. Aboderin, Senior Pastor, Faith Family Bible Church, Lagos, Nigeria will minister at both the 9 am and 11 am Services, on the theme, “Silencing Mockers.”
