Senior Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Dominion Cathedral, Orange, New Jersey, United States of America (USA), Pastor (Dr.) Toyin Laoye, has become the Regional Pastor in charge of New Jersey and Vermont.

Pastor Laoye (PTL), before her promotion by the RCCG, headed by the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has been the Special Assistant to the Continental Overseer (SATCO) of RCCG, The Americas, Pastor James Fadel. Pastor Fadel is also an Assistant General Overseer (AGO) of RCCG and Member of the Governing Council of the Church.

Pastor (Dr.) Laoye has been in charge of African Missions for The Americas and has, from the position, been mobilizing human, material and financial resources towards the evangelization of the African continent from the Americas.

The first female Pastor of the RCCG in the Americas, Pastor (Dr.) Laoye started Dominion Cathedral twenty-five years ago from the basement of her first house in the USA and has, by the help of the Holy Spirit, nursed the Church to its present status as Regional Headquarters of the RCCG, North America Region 15 (NAR-15). The Church is situated on its own strategically located premises in Orange, New Jersey.

As Regional Pastor of New Jersey and Vermont, Pastor (Dr.) Laoye will, by the help of the Holy Spirit, now be overseeing the present 45 Parishes of the RCCG in the new Region.

The new Regional Headquarters, RCCG Dominion Cathedral, celebrated its Silver (25th) Jubilee in April this year, and the program, which turned out to be a joyful reunion for many of the past and present ministers and members of the Church from far and near, had many dignitaries in attendance.

Some of those who graced the Anniversary celebration include the Continental Overseer, The Americas, Pastor Fadel, Nigeria’s Consul General in New York, Ambassador Peter Lot Egopija, New Jersey Governor, Phil Murphy, who was represented by Reverend Derrick L. Green, founder of the Interfaith Action Movement (IAM), and popular political figure and Council President Emeritus, Mildred Crump (Mama Africa).

The joyful ministers, workers and members of the congregation of Dominion Cathedral, on Sunday June 19, 2022 (Father’s Day), welcomed their newly promoted Pastor from the Dallas, Texas Workers and Ministers Conference with great excitement, showers of love and congratulations. There were also prayers for more of God’s grace and the help of the Holy Spirit for greater success for her in her new assignment.
