The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has adjusted the timetable for its Congresses and National Convention, with the party’s national convention now fixed for May 21, 2016.
According to a statement by Chief Olisa Metuh, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, the new timetable supercedes the earlier one.
In the adjusted timetable, Ward Congresses will hold on Saturday, April 30, 2016 while Ward Appeals will come up on Monday, May 2, 2016
Local Government Area Congresses will hold onThursday, May 5, 2016 with the LGA Appeal fixed for Saturday, May 7, 2016.
According to Metuh, State Congresses will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 with State Appeal fixed for Thursday, May 12, 2016
The Zonal Congresses are to be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016, the Zonal Appeal on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 before the National Convention on Saturday, May 21, 2016
