40th anniversary of RCCG’s Special Holy Ghost Service starts today, March 5, 2026; Theme – EXCELLENCE
The 40th Anniversary programme of the Holy Ghost Service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) starts today, March 5, 2026 and will end with a thanksgiving service on Sunday, March 8, 2026, The General Overseer of the Church, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and other anointed Ministers of God will be ministering.
The theme of the programme, which will also mark the 45th year anniversary of the assumption of office of Pastor Adeboye as General Overseer, and his 84th birthday anniversary, is EXCELLENCE.
The programme, which is being attended by senior Pastors and other renowned clergymen and women from across the world, as well as top political and business leaders, is holding at the Redemption City of God on the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway from 7:00PM (WAT) from today to Saturday, March 8, 2026. Sunday’s Thanksgiving Service will be a morning programme.
Already, several activities aimed at commemorating the birthday of Pastor Adeboye, an internationally acclaimed clergyman, have been ongoing, including the 12th edition of the Pastor E. A. Adeboye Annual Birthday Public Lecture, held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 with the theme, “Leveraging Nigeria’s Young Population for National Growth and Development.”
The Guest Speaker at the Lecture, which held at the RCCG Youth Centre, Redemption City of God, and which was organized by the Triumphant Elders Consultative Forum of RCCG, was Barrister Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa (SAN).
There have also been the 84 Hours Marathon Messiah Praise programme, with the theme GLORY, featuring different music ministers from far and near, continually praising and worshipping God for His faithfulness; the Solemn Assembly, a retreat for workers and ministers of the Mission from all over the world, and the Light Up crusades in different parts of Nigeria and beyond.
To feature high praises and soul-lifting worship sessions, fervent and effectual prayers, testimonies, word ministrations, Holy Communion, deliverance sessions, and prophetic declarations, Pastor Adeboye has assured that this year’s Special Holy Ghost Service will witness the release of oversized miracles to God’s children, miracles the kind that have never been seen before.
All are therefore being invited to be part of the programme by being physically at the Redemption City. But those who cannot be physically present in the Redemption City for one good reason or the other will also be able to participate in the programme via the Church’s YouTube channel and its verified social media platforms for livestreams.
