Prof. Willie Igwe of Rivers State University delivers Inaugural Lecture
Professor Onyeka Williams Igwe of the Rivers State University (RSU), Port Harcourt will on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, deliver the 104th Inaugural Lecture of the University.
Igwe, a Professor of International Human Rights Law, will be speaking on “The Human Right to be Different: Context, Vulnerability, Values, Realities and Consequences.”
The invitation to the Inaugural Lecture, by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Nlerum Sunday Okogbule, on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, Senate, Staff and Students of the institution, said that the event starts at 2:00 pm prompt.
The venue of the intellectual feast is the Dr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike Senate Building, RSU, and listed as contacts (RSVP) are Professor N. Hudson Ukoima, Chairman, Senate Lectures Committee and Mrs. Ibimonica B. S. Harry, Ag. Registrar.
Expectations are already high concerning the high quality of the Lecture to be delivered by Professor Igwe, an acclaimed authority in his field, and the lasting impact it is expected to make in the society as well as its contribution to the body of literature in the specific area of study.
