The 2023 Holy Ghost Congress of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) with the theme, “Divine Repositioning” has come to a glorious end.
The programme, which started on Monday, December 4, ended on Saturday December 9, 2023, but was rounded off with a Thanksgiving Service by the General Overseer (GO) of the Church, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, yesterday, Sunday, December 10, 2023.
The first day of the programme, Monday, was dedicated to praise and worship and welcome of participants who had started streaming into the the Redemption City on the Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, Nigeria even before the start date of the Congress.
There were teachings, prayers, praise and worship sessions, deliverance service, leading up to Friday, when there was Holy Communion and an Anointing Service on the Holy Ghost Service night of the Congress. There were also amazing testimonies of the faithfulness of God.
In the course of the Congress, there were presentations concerning global evangelism efforts, including the unveiling of plans for the celebration of Pastor Adeboye’s 82nd birthday next year, especially as it relates to soul winning, which the popular Cleric is passionate about.
Delegations from virtually all the continents of the world participated actively in the Congress with senior Ministers and heads of Ministries from Nigeria and beyond also in attendance.
Thousands of people trooped out to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ at the different Services, especially whenever the altar call was made by the GO, as Pastor Adeboye is more fondly called.
The Congress, which witnessed an unprecedented crowd of worshippers lived up to its billing as the most glorious and impactful so far.
Many across the world also participated in the Services virtually as they were live streamed on the social media platforms of the global Church.
