The 2024 Special Holy Ghost Service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) with the theme, On Eagles’ Wings, has kicked off in earnest.
The programme started with a Solemn Assembly (Ministers’ Conference) from February 25th – 28th and has progressed to the Special Holy Ghost Service which started yesterday, Thursday, February 29th and will end on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024.
The General Overseer (G. O) of the mega Church, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and other Anointed Ministers of God are ministering at the Services that have crowds of worshippers from across the world in attendance both onsite at the Church’s sprawling Redemption City on the Lagos -Ibadan Expressway in Nigeria and online on YouTube and the Church’s social media platforms.
The Special Holy Ghost Services also coincide with the birthday of the G.O, Pastor Adeboye, who was born on March 2, 1942.
Different programmes arranged to celebrate the Cleric’s birthday include the Light Up Crusades aimed at soul-winning and the Marathon Messiah Praise programme which involves different gospel artists praising and worshipping God non-stop for 82 hours.
The Redemption City is already filled with worshippers from all over the world and prayers, praise and worship, preaching and teaching of the word of God, testimonies of God’s faithfulness, prophetic declarations are major features of the programme which is open to all.
