Rev. Dr. Polycarp Chukwuemeka Okewulonu passes on to glory

The family of late Chief Godwin Okewulonu of Umuololo Amaeke, Avutu in Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria has formally announced the transition to glory of their son, husband, father, brother and uncle, Rev. Dr. Polycarp Chukwuemeka Okewulonu, aged 64.

The notice announcing the passage of the icon was endorsed, on behalf of the family, by Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu (Ikeoha Obowo), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the bye-election for the Imo North (Okigwe) senatorial district seat.

Funeral service in honour of Rev. Dr. Okewulonu will take place on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Community School field, Avutu, Obowo LGA, by 11 a.m. and will be followed by interment at his country home, at Okewulonu’s Compound, Umuololo Amaeke, Avutu, Obowo LGA, Imo State.

The departed cleric is being mourned by many across the world.
