The 2025 Annual Congress of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) with the theme The God of All Flesh has started off on a high note on Monday, December 8, 2025 with worshippers from all over the world attending the Welcome Service that featured fervent prayers, and great praise and worship sessions.
The first day of the weeklong programme, which will end on December 14, 2025, also featured a brief exhortation by the General Overseer (GO) of the Church, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, before a festival of praise and worship, led by different music ministers, continued and dominated the opening day’s activities.
Senior Pastors of the Church and leaders of other ministries from all over the world are already at the venue of the Congress, the Redemption City of God (formerly known as Redemption Camp) on the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.
There will be no dull moment through out the duration of the program, as it is loaded with activities aimed at the spiritual, physical, financial and general wellbeing of attendees.
Pastor Adeboye himself has continued to counsel people not to miss any day of the Congress, and has equally urged everyone to invite everyone else, friends, family members and even enemies, because of the blessings and the salvation that await those who attend.
Though in-person attendance is best, those who are for serious reasons unable to attend in-person also have the opportunity to participate in the Congress from wherever they are in the world by logging into the verified social media platforms of the Church, tuning into Dove Media, or into the YouTube channel of the Church.
The great success of the opening day of the Congress has given indication concerning the greater successes that await worshippers in the days ahead.
