Super Eagles announce 24-man squad for World Cup play-off (See full list)

Head coach Eric Chelle has announced a 24-man squad for Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup play-off against the Panthers of Gabon in Rabat, Morocco.
The Super Eagles will assemble in Morocco this weekend ahead of the crucial clash in the Maghreb nation.
In-form striker Victor Osimhen and reigning African Player of the Year Ademola Lookman headline the list, which features a strong mix of experience and youth.
Chelle also recalled five players who missed October’s international window — goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, defenders Bright Osayi-Samuel and Chidozie Awaziem, midfielder Raphael Onyedika, and Sevilla winger Chidera Ejuke.
The Super Eagles will face Gabon at either the 18,000-capacity El-Barid Stadium or the 22,000-capacity Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex, both in Rabat. The final of the play-offs is scheduled for the Stade Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan.
