Peter Obi tours Plateau State, campaigns for guber candidate, Dakum; Visits Adefarasins; Zion Ministry, Lagos

Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, Governorship Candidate of the Party in Plateau State, Dr. Patrick Dakum and other Party Chiefs and stakeholders when Mr. Obi arrived Jos, Wednesday

 

Mr. Peter Obi, Presidential Candidate of Labour Party (LP) continued his thank you tour of country which he is also using as opportunity to campaign for the Party’s Governorship and States’ Houses of Assembly Candidates in Saturday’s election with a trip to Plateau State.

Mr. Obi, who has continued to insist that “We remain committed to reclaiming our stolen mandate and turning our focus to true nation-building,” was received by the excited Governorship Candidate of the Party in the state, Dr. Dakum, and other party chiefs, stakeholders and LP supporters in the state with cheers from the airport through his different stops while in the state.

Dr. Dakum, who won his Supreme Court case against his candidacy the same yesterday, Wednesday, said: “Thank you so much our Leader Peter Obi for coming to Jos today. Your coming brought additional blessings as the Supreme Court dismissed the case against me. You have energized our campaign. To all Obidients, let’s come out enmass to vote for Labour Party on Saturday March 18.”

Mr. Obi, former Governor of Anambra State, said in a tweet about the trip that: “I have just arrived in Jos to thank the OBIdients, and urge them to come out enmasse to support LP candidates. I use Patrick Dakum, our Governorship candidate as my point of contact in wishing the State Assembly candidates a great success on 18th March.”

He also paid a condolence visit to the Adefarasins, whose Matriarch, Mrs. Hilda Adefarasin, died recently and would be buried this weekend, and was received by the Senior Pastor of the House on the Rock Church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, and his siblings.

The LP Presidential Candidate, who is contesting the verdict of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Court, also visited Zion Ministry Lagos, where the huge congregation erupted in jubilation at his presence in the premises.
