Two Brigade Nigerian Army begins competition for soldiers in A/Ibom

Two Brigade Nigerian Army, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State has begun the Six Division Corporal and Below Competition 2017 at 6 Battalion, Ibagwa in Abak Local Government Area of the state.

The competition, which will be rounded up on Friday September 15, 2017 will showcase
troops of Two Brigade Uyo, 16 Brigade  Yenagoa and 6 Division Garrison, Port Harcourt in weapon handling, drills, obstacle crossing, combat swimming and map reading respectively.

A statement by the Assistant Director, Public Relations Two Brigade Nigerian Army, Captain Umar Shuaib and made available to newsmen in Uyo said, ‘‘the 2 Brigade Nigerian Army Uyo is hosting the 6 Division Corporal and Below Competition scheduled to hold from 11 to 15 September 2017.

‘‘Troops of 2 Brigade Uyo, 16 Brigade  Yenagoa and 6 Division Garrison Port Harcourt will be competing in Weapon Handling, Drills, Obstacle Crossing, Combat Swimming and Map Reading respectively’’, and warned members of the public not to panic as the event is part of a routine exercise of the Nigerian Army to strengthen the soldiers.
