The immediate past Governor of Delta, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, has appointed Mr Charles Malam-Obi, as the Director-General of his campaign organisation.
Mr Monoyo Edon, Media Assistant to Uduaghan, disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Warri.
He said the decision to appoint him was reached after a crucial deliberation with caucus members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Warri.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Uduaghan is contesting for the Delta South Senatorial seat in the 2019 general elections under the platform of APC.
Malam-Obi, who holds a Bachelors Degree (BSc) in Economics from the Lagos State University (LASU), was a former Political Adviser to Uduaghan.
