The wife of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye will be the Key Speaker at the 3rd edition of HORIZON 2033 Forum in New York City, United States, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. The Forum is being hosted by the Africa Missions Global (AMG) on the sidelines of the  United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Pastor Mrs. Adeboye is the Visionaire and Founder of AMG, which is using the Forum to “engage high-level political and global leaders to align with its target of impacting 100m lives in 10 years as a transformative and accelerated action expected from the 2023 SDG Summit.”

The theme of this year’s Forum is “Delivering Hope at Scale: Trusted African Solutions for Global Impact,” and according to the organizers, the event “reflects a bold vision: to position AMG as the execution partner of choice for pan-African development initiatives — across education, health, empowerment, emergency response, and humanitarian aid.”

Other key speakers at the Forum scheduled to hold at the Main Conference Room of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) at 1 Dag Hammarskjold Plz, New York, from 10AM to 11.30AM, are His Excellency Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, President of the Republic of Namibia, His Excellency, Mohammed Jallow, Vice President of the Republic of The Gambia and Emma Kantema-Gaomas, Minister of Gender Equality and Child Welfare of Namibia.

Also to speak at the high profile international event are Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, Chief Minister, Republic of Sierra Leone (Office of the President), Hon. Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, The Honourable Minister of Education, Federal Government of Nigeria, Ms. Lungile Dlamini
CEO, Municipal Council of Manzini, Eswatini and Ms. Natalie Jabangwe, CEO, Timbuktoo, Africa Innovation Fund.

To be moderated by Mervin Azeta, Global Program Manager, Schlumberger, the event will equally be graced by Pastor James Fadel, the Continental Overseer, RCCG, The Americas and Member, Board of Trustees, AMG, Pastor Mrs. Eyono Fatayi-Williams, CEO, AMG and Mr. James Wanki, Fellow, Irish Aid Anna Lindh, Centre for Peace and Development.

AMG has been at the forefront of providing shelter, food, and psychosocial support to millions of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Africa, including in regions like Nigeria and the Central African Republic (CAR), who have been affected by conflict and insecurity. The AMG’s holistic approach has ensured that displaced families “not only survive but also regain their dignity and hope for the future.”

Schooling, skills training, shelter, and psychosocial support are being provided for those in IDP camps in Maiduguri in Borno State and Adamawa State, both in Nigeria, and in other locations across the continent, to help many rebuild their lives after conflict and displacement.

In Ogun State, also in Nigeria, the AMG is working to complete, this year, a flagship health campus, the “village of healing,” with maternal care, HIV testing, child wellness, and surgical clinics, under its HealAfrica Health Village programme, that will serve 50,000 people annually with dignity and faith-integrated care.

Across Africa, especially in Egypt, Nigeria, Uganda, and Cameroon, the AMG has under its Vocational Empowerment programs, equipped and empowered thousands with skills in tailoring, carpentry and agriculture with the aim of reducing unemployment and stimulating local economies. These initiatives have resulted, as in Uganda, in the establishment of cooperatives that now export handmade goods internationally.

Also, very importantly, the AMG has an ongoing, thriving Youth Training program, the Harvesters Youth Program, which empowers young Africans through mission trips, summer schools, career coaching, and entrepreneurship training. Intended to train a generation for purpose, the program has, so far, reached an estimated 800,000 youth across the continent and “is AMG’s long-term bet on Africa’s future.”

These and other laudable and impactful programs of the AMG are being scaled and tracked towards the target of reaching 100 million lives by 2033. But since there is need for equally visionary partners, HORIZON 2033 Forum is being organized annually to mobilize the support of foundations, donor agencies, multilateral bodies, individuals, and others for the necessary and urgent work that must continue to be done, at the larger scale, especially in Africa, to bring about the needed change in the world.

More information concerning the great work AMG is presently doing across Africa is available on its website at africamissionsglobal.org while Horizon Forum 2033 can be contacted at Africa Missions Global, AMG Secretariat, 12 Diligence Road, Redemption City, Mowe, Ogun State, Nigeria.
