‘We will find perpetrators of the dastardly terror attack,’ Tinubu assures in Jos (See pictures)
President Bola Tinubu has assured that the Federal Government will find and bring the perpetrators of the Palm Sunday terror attack in Plateau State to book.
He gave the assurance during a condolence visit to “stakeholders and victims of the recent terror incident in Jos, Plateau State,” on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
At least 27 persons were reported killed while many others were injured when the terrorists attacked the innocent people on Palm Sunday in the State.
In a post on his Facebook page, the President also commiserated with the families of the victims of the “dastardly acts,” noting that though “no amount of money can bring back the dead … the Federal Government will do our best to comfort them, walk with them and provide necessary assistance.”
Addressing a particularly adversely impacted lady, the President said: “Rhoda Favour, I feel your pain but no matter what we say, we cannot bring Ayuba back,” reassuring that the government will find the perpetrators of the dastardly act.
