When #EndBadGovernance protest turned to live Sunday Service in Jos

The #EndBadGovernance protest in Jos, Plateau State, took a unique turn on Sunday, August 4, 2024, as demonstrators held a live Sunday service at the Old Airport Junction protest ground. The service included prayers for divine intervention in Nigeria’s economic crisis.

Prophet Isa El-Buba, a prominent figure in the protest since August 1, led the service. The event took place shortly after President Bola Tinubu’s nationwide speech addressing the public’s concerns over hunger and the high cost of living.
