The people’s man, Chief Chris Ejekwu, who is more popularly called the Governor, literally, shut down New Jersey, United States of America (USA) recently when he celebrated his 65th birthday and retirement from the service of America’s Garden State.
‘Governor’ Chris attracted the high and the mighty, the who-is-who, family, relatives, friends and associates from all over New Jersey and far beyond to the hall of Sacred Heart Church on Grove Street, Irvington, for the party of the year.
And all who attended the double-barreled event had a wonderful time, with foods and drinks very plenty, and lots of dancing and backslapping.
A much loved community leader and socialite of note, the turnout and positive energy at Chief Chris Ejekwu’s event was clear evidence that he is reaping the bountiful rewards of the good he has done over the years.
