“If you know that you will not work, please throw in the towel now. You have to work hard for the state and ensure that we achieve a New Rivers State in line with our blueprint.

“Some of you may head Ministries. You have to be committed to service delivery. We must remain focused and not be distracted as we deliver on our mandate of creating a New Rivers State “.

The governor urged the appointees to avoid leaking state secrets, saying that they must remain loyal to the state.

Inaugurating the State Post-Primary Schools Board, Governor Wike noted that the board will drive his administration’s total rehabilitation of schools.

He called on the members to ensure that they execute quality jobs in the interest of the development of post-basic education.
