Women Judges from all over the world, on the platform of the International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ), would storm Cape Town, South Africa for their 17th Biennial Conference taking place from April 9-12, 2025.The theme of the Conference, which will have some women Judges from Nigeria in attendance, is “Resilience: Women in Leadership to End Gender-Based Violence & Femicide.”
To be hosted by the South African Chapter of the IAWJ, the Conference will see Judges, legal professionals, partners and other stakeholders from across the world coming together to deliberate on critical issues, champion women’s rights and foster leadership towards ending gender-based violence and femicide.
Inspiring and knowledgeable Keynote Speakers have been lined up for the Conference, and the organizers promise that the delegates will have an unforgettable experience, with impactful discussions on the theme of the event, and invaluable networking opportunities with Judges and legal professionals from around the world.

Already, most delegates have been making last minute arrangements for the trip to Cape Town, the legislative capital, and oldest city of South Africa, which has at various times been voted as the best place in the world to visit by global media organizations such as The New York Times and The Daily Telegraph.
