Father of Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2021 guber polls in Anambra State, late Chief Andrew Nwafor Ozigbo, will be interred on Friday April 22, 2022.
A joint statement by Chief Aaron Ozigbo, Ichie Ezechinyelugo (Brother) and Valentine Ozigbo (Son and Chairman, Ozigbo Family), said that the late Chief Andrew Ozigbo (Omenyiri), a retired school headmaster, catechist, and community leader, who died at the age of 92, is survived by his wife, Ezinne Christiana Ozigbo, three sons, three daughters, brothers, sisters and several grandchildren and great-grand children.
The statement said further that as part of the funeral programme, there will be a Vigil Mass on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Chief Andrew Ozigbo’s Compound, Amuwo Village, Amesi, Aguata LGA Anambra State from 5pm.
On Friday, April 22, 2023, there will be a Funeral Mass at St. Vincent Catholic Church, Amesi from 10am, before a private family interment. Right after, the statement noted, reception will follow at Christ the Redeemer College, Amesi Field.
Saturday, April 23, 2023 will be for In-laws’ Visit at Christ the Redeemer College, Amesi Field while there will be a Thanksgiving Mass at St Vincent Catholic Church Amesi from 8:30am on Sunday, April 24, 2022 to round off the celebration of the Life and Legacy of the iconic Patriarch of the Ozigbo family.
