Mikie Sherrill Candidate of the Democratic Party for the New Jersey governorship election holding on November 4, 2025, Mikie Sherrill, has been on the move, reaching out to different political blocs around the state, to galvanize support for her bid to take over the batten of leadership of the Garden State.
Sherrill, a former Navy helicopter pilot, tough federal prosecutor and popular Congresswoman will have the Republic Party candidate, Jack Ciattarelli to beat and is not leaving anything to chance.
A grassroots political leader, Sherrill has been mobilizing community leaders, and other stakeholders, sharing with them her vision for the state and explaining in greater details some of the policies she will implement when elected Governor.
One of such meetings took place recently at the residence of a political mass mobilizer and highly respected community leader, Chief Charles Ugo Eke. The parley was attended by the who-is-who in the community, all of who listened to Sherrill with rapt attention and at the end, endorsed her candidacy without reservations.
The core leadership of the AfricansForMikie group, including Chief Polly Ubah, Dr Bonny-Life Ndu, Mrs. Esther Nelson and a host of others, who were all at the crucial meeting, also pledged their full support for a successful campaign, and promised to ensure that they mobilize voters, especially African-Americans, to come out enmasse to vote the Mikie Sherrill into office come November 4, 2025.
