‘I did juju for Peller to blow,’ Babalawo alleges; Accuses social media personality of ingratitude

A Babalawo (herbalist) has alleged that he used traditional spiritual practices to help Nigerian content creator Peller achieve fame, accusing the 21-year-old social media personality of abandoning him after becoming successful.
The traditionalist made the claim in a video circulating online, in which he expressed anger over what he described as Peller’s failure to return to him after allegedly seeking assistance at his shrine.
Addressing Peller directly, the Babalawo said, “Peller, Peller, Peller! I did juju for you to make you blow.”
He further alleged that Peller had visited his shrine years ago while seeking help.
“I remember the time you came to my shrine begging and crying on the ground,” he said.
According to the Babalawo, Peller has enjoyed success for more than three years without acknowledging the alleged role he played in the content creator’s rise.
“For over three years now you’ve been blowing, but you don’t remember me. You’ve forgotten me, baba,” he said.
The traditionalist also expressed anger over the alleged failure of Peller to return, warning that the content creator could face financial difficulties if he did not address the matter.
“Peller, I am angry with you. I swear to God – you no go see money again, you’ll be as poor as anything,” he said.
He urged Peller to return and resolve what he described as an outstanding issue between them.
“You better come and do the right thing, or else you will not reign again,” the Babalawo said.
The allegations have generated reactions on social media, with users expressing different views about the claims and the traditionalist’s purported connection to Peller’s rise to prominence.
Peller has not, based on the information available, publicly responded to the allegations.
