The Office of the Bronx Borough President, Vanessa L. Gibson and the African Advisory Council of the Bronx (AAC) would host the African Heritage Festival on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 1700 Crotona Park E (Claremont Parkway and Crotona Ave) from 10 AM to 5 PM.
The program, which is expected to feature lots of music and sound by DJ Sadam as well as other exciting cultural attractions will be attended by a wide array of dignitaries from different African countries as well as African Americans and other friends of Africa, including top government functionaries and Diplomats.
Many lovers of the African Heritage from all over New York and far beyond are already eagerly looking forward to the Festival at which the rich and vibrant cultures, colors, rhythms, flavors, music, food, traditional dances and arts of Africa will be celebrated.
The Festival has been described as a feast for the senses, where participants will experience in full the rich history and diversity of the African heritage unveiled through live performances, interactive workshops and cultural displays.
There is also a promise that there will be something in it for everyone who comes around to be part of the African Heritage Festival 2024, with the reassurance that it will surely be an unforgettable experience for all.
Attendance is free of charge and, according an expectant participant, it will be a great way to wind up the summer.
