Aliko Dangote meets World Bank Group’s President, Ajay Banga, in Washington DC

The President/Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, has met with the World Bank Group’s President, Mr. Ajay Banga in Washington DC, USA.

The meeting between the duo took place in the World Bank President’s office on the sidelines of the IMF/WBG Spring Meetings holding in Washington DC, USA.

The 2026 Spring Meetings started on Monday, April 13 and will end on Saturday, April 18, in Washington, DC. The year’s Meetings focus on global economic stability against the background of geopolitical shifts, high debts, and energy crises.

Issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting between Dangote and Banga.
