Armed bandits have attacked and killed travellers in Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State.
PRNigeria gathered that the bandits in large numbers stormed Farun Bala village and immediately shot the driver and conductor of a commercial bus belonging to the Katsina State Transport Authority.
The attackers also abducted unspecified numbers of passengers after the attack.
In some videos obtained by PRNigeria the dead and the injured passengers were being evacuated.
Meanwhile security personnel have been deployed to the scene of the attack.
Jibia, which is not far away from Katsina, sits along the Nigerian border with Niger.
