Bauchi PDP to refund nomination fees to all aspirants that lost primaries

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bauchi state chapter has decided to refund the fees paid by its members for purchase of nomination forms to aspire for LGA Chairmanship or councillorship positions in the forthcoming local government elections who lost in the primaries.

The Publicity Secretary of the party, Yayanuwa Zainabari revealed this to journalists at the party Secretariat saying that it is only fair to refund the fees paid to alleviate the pains of the loss of the primaries as well as to demonstrate that the party is a United entity and members are working as a family to ensure victory at the forth coming LG elections in the state.

According to him ,the party has done its home work very well and is sure of victory assuring also that there will be a level playing field for every contestant as the election will be conducted in a free and fair atmosphere considering that people of the state have been looking forward to the election.

The Publicity Secretary of the party said that 20 candidates are contesting as Chairmen while 300 are contesting as councillors under the party in the forthcoming local government polls.

He then called on the people of the state to come out to vote for their candidates at the October 17th local government elections in the state.
