Buhari in surprise trip to London with Alison-Madueke

Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, Friday, was spotted boarding the same British Airways flight to London, with the incoming President Muhammadu Buhari.

While Allison-Madueke’s trip mission was not officially disclosed, the incoming number one citizen was said to be travelling for weekend. He is expected back to Nigeria, next week Tuesday.

It was learnt that the embattled minister had a change of mind and ensured she got booked on the same flight, immediately she was hinted about Buhari’s weekend trip to United Kingdom.

The arrangement is reportedly said to avail Allison-Madueke’s an opportunity of seeking Gen. Buhari’s audience on critical issues concerning her portfolio among other serious issues relating to the outgoing administration.

The surprise Buhari’s weekend London trip is believed to have taken everyone by surprise, including his aides, especially as he was in his hometown, Daura, Katsina State and just returned to Abuja late Thursday.
