The All Progressives Congress (APC) has strongly condemned what transpired at both chambers of the National Assembly on Thursday, June 25th 2015.
In a statement issued by its National Secretary, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni,the party said it stands by the list sent by it to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
The Senate refused to honour the list of principal officers submitted by the APC and went ahead to announce those preferred by Senators loyal to the Senate President.
An attempt to do the same in the House Of Representatives ended in chaos
“The National Caucus, BOT and NEC of the party will meet within the next few days to discuss the evolving developments in the National Assembly” the statement by Alhaji Buni stressed.
