All Progressives Congress, APC, stakeholders from Mikang Local Government of Plateau State arose from a meeting Saturday, March 24, 2018, endorsing Governor Simon Bako Lalong for a second tenure of office.
The motion for the adoption of Governor Lalong for second term was moved by a serving Commissioner in the Judicial Service Commission, Irene Piental.
The meeting which held in Tunkus the headquarters of Mikang Local Government Area had in attendance the first Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Bretet Dauda and current serving political appointees from the Local Government which include Commissioner for Information and Communication, Yakubu Dati and former member House of Representatives, Innocent Tirsel.
Many other dignitaries graced the occasion from the four districts of the Local Government and the consensus was that Gov. Lalong has performed creditably and deserves a second term of office.
